Springton Lake Montessori is a nonprofit preschool and kindergarten. The school is privately owned and was established in 1983. Springton Lake Montessori School is licensed by the Department of Education and is a member of the American Montessori Society, AMS.
The school has four classrooms available to children from 2½ to 6 years of age. A full-day kindergarten class is also available. Each classroom has two licensed teachers. Student teachers may also be added to the rooms over the school year. Our program works well with a hardworking and dedicated staff.
Parent Visits, Reports and Conferences
Written reports will be given out in January. At this time, we would like to encourage parents to come and visit with your child during work time. Parent conferences will be held during the month of January. Written reports will also go out in June.
We welcome parents to come and visit our classroom to observe a Montessori environment in operation. Due to class scheduling and the routine of the day, we ask that you call the office to set up an appointment.
We rely on parents for suggestions and feedback. We need support and participation from everyone. Thank you for your cooperation. We are looking forward to a great beginning.
